COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The ethics investigation into U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson will dig a little deeper according to Fox News Correspondent James Rossen.
The U.S. House Ethics Committee probe is focused around the possible misuse of travel funds.
The joint decision to extend the probe came Wednesday by the committee.
Among the accusations, Wilson is criticized for using taxpayer funded expenses to purchase six goblets wile in Afghanistan last year.
Wilson says the goblets cost less than $2 each and were given to veterans of the Afghan War as tokens the congressman's appreciation.The committee will have until December 30 to announce their findings but a decision could come sooner.
