SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -- The son of a South Carolina lawmaker has been charged in a series of indecent exposure cases.
Spartanburg County Sheriff's spokesman Tony Ivey says 27-year-old Kevin Parker was arrested Tuesday and charged with assault and battery, indecent exposure and burglary. He was being held in the Spartanburg County jail.
Victims at an apartment complex and a hotel are among the women who say a man exposed himself.
Parker's father, state Rep. Steve Parker, said Tuesday that the case is a private family matter. Messages left with Parker's attorney were not returned.
After his son was arrested on an indecent exposure charge in Columbia last month, Steve Parker said his son was just urinating in the bushes after a football game.
