Vets and military eat for free on Veterans Day

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Veterans and active military members don't have to worry about putting food on the table this Veteran's Day.

Several Midlands restaurants are offering free meals as a way to say thanks.

In order to take advantage of the deals, veterans must show their military ID's to take advantage of the deals.

Participating Restaurants Include:

Outback Steakhouse: Free bloomin' onion and beverage
Applebee's: Free meal
Chili's: Free meal
Texas Roadhouse: Free entree
Golden Corral: Free dinner
Krispy Kreme: Free doughnut
Hooters: Free specialty menu item
