CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson first-year women's basketball coach Itoro Coleman has given birth to her third child.

Clemson said in an e-mail announcement that Jasmine Chanice Coleman was born Friday, weighing in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Itoro Coleman and her husband, Harold, have two other daughters, 6-year-old Jada and 1-year-old Jordyn.

Coleman is currently away from the team on a doctor-recommended leave of absence. She hopes to be back by the end of November.

Clemson assistant coach Karleen Thompson has taken over head coaching duties until Coleman comes back.

Clemson opens its season Friday against UNC Greensboro.
