COLUMBIA (WACH)-Fifty local Bank of America employees pack and deliver Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors in the Midlands.

Volunteers kicked off their day of volunteering at the Senior Resources Trenholm Road United Methodist Church Meals On Wheels site Friday morning.

The "Blitz for Meals on Wheels" allows many Senior Resources regular, faithful volunteers to have a day off.

"The fact that one day, God willing, all of us will be seniors I think has been very impactful to our associates especially when you think about the objective...is to have every homebound senior in have a hot meal so that's very impactful," says Bob Mason, Senior Vice President for Bank of America.
