ORANGEBURG (WACH) -- Funeral arrangements have been set for Orangeburg County Sheriff Larry D. Williams.
Williams' family announced the viewing will be held Sunday between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Simmons Funeral Home in Orangeburg. Guests will be received from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A private memorial will follow.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Neeses Highway in Orangeburg at 11 a.m.
A scholarship fund has been set up in Sheriff Williams' name at the South Carolina Federal Credit Union in Orangeburg.
Williams passed away Tuesday at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia. He had been in the hospital for almost a month, suffering from an undisclosed illness.
