COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The Columbia-Richland Fire Department is currently hiring.
The department says they're looking to fill recruit firefighters positions.
The salary for the jobs will be covered by a Department of Homeland Security grant.
“With the grant it will allow the Fire Department to keep all required positions staffed and Fire Companies in service through the next two fiscal budget years," explains Chief Aubrey Jenkins. "It returns us to our required staffing levels and allows us to recruit and hire the firefighters that are needed.”
