COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Officials are searching for two suspects involved in a bank robbery Wednesday morning.

According to Columbia Police Spokesman Brick Lewis, the robbery happened around 10 a.m. at the SC State Credit Union on Farrow Road.

One of the suspects entered the bank wearing a blue jumpsuit, gloves and a bandana.  The description of the second suspect has not yet been confirmed.

One of the suspects demanded money and implied they had a weapon, however one was not seen.

The two individuals fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and headed south on Farrow Road.

In their getaway, the driver of the white colored newer model Ford Explorer ran into a ditch which may have caused damage to the vehicle.

As police continue their investigation, they're looking into whether the same suspects were involved in a separate bank robbery that happened in May at the SC State Credit Union on Colonial Drive.

Identical clothing may link the two robberies.

If you have any information about the suspects or the vehicle, you're urged to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
