COLUMBIA (WACH) -- BB&T workers helped make a house a home along with youth from the Department of Juvenile Justice Monday.

Volunteers with the Homeworks Project worked on Ollie and Thomas Milligan's home in Columbia.

Work ranges from exterior painting, carpentry to re-roofing the entire house.

Milligan says it couldn't come at a better time.

"Oh, you know I feel great about it," Ollie says.  "I said God really answered our blessings because it costs so much.  We didn't have the money right now and my husband, he's sick."

Homeworks is a faith based effort that teaches youth, with the help of adults, how to make repairs and improvements to homes of the elderly and disadvantaged.
