COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The Fresh Market and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is teaming up to help fight Type One Diabetes with the 16th Annual Sidewalk Sale.
The Fresh Market is selling root beer floats, hot dogs, gourmet cookies and ice cream sundaes.
All the proceeds from the sidewalk sale goes to the foundation.
Assistant Store Manager John Goodyear says they came up with this concept several years ago.
"Last year, we raised $280,000 and this year out goal is to raise over $300,000, certainly with the support of our vendors, different products you see here," Goodyear adds.
The sidewalk sale will continue at every Fresh market store until Sunday.
