CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- The U.S. Coast Guard says it is looking for a missing swimmer off the coast of South Carolina.

The Coast Guard said in a news release that 31-year-old Joseph Scott went missing while swimming with friends Saturday off Hunting Island. He went under and no one saw him resurface.

A Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin rescue helicopter crew from Air Station Savannah, Ga., and a 25-foot rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Tybee Island, Ga., are searching.
