COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- With students returning to class, the University of South Carolina is reopening its Healthy Carolina Farmers Market to crank back up.
The university says the market reopens on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Russell House University Union in Columbia.
Starting that day, the market will be open every Tuesday through Sept. 28.
Organizers say the market draws about 1,000 customers a week. It features fresh and local produce, homemade breads and handmade items.
