COLUMBIA (WACH) -- As the American Red Cross continues to ask for blood donations because of a summer shortage, Taco Bell is offering a tasty incentive to help save a life.
Anyone who donates between August 26 and 28 will receive a $10 lunch or dinner coupon at the restaurant.
WACH Fox News stopped by the Red Cross Donor Center on Bull Street Thursday and found a few donors and several empty chairs.
Jamie Muldrow, with the Red Cross, says type O- is especially needed, but all donors are welcome.
"We know it's hot outside," she explains. We know schools are back in session, but we really, really need you to come out and donate blood."
