COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Creating green jobs in South Carolina was the topic of a round table discussion at the Capital City Club Tuesday.

Business leaders from all over the state came together to talk about maximizing renewable energy resources and increasing the number of jobs.

Russ Keller is the Vice President of Advanced Technology International and is one of the panel members.

He says it's important for supporters to get the word out as green technologies enter the marketplace.

"Certainly events like this are a great forum to get the word out to small businesses and large businesses and hopefully that prompts action on their part," Keller adds.

The panel discussion was sponsored by several Midlands businesses.
