The Gamecocks began fall practice Tuesday.
South Carolina kicked off fall practice Tuesday. USC will practice through the end of the month. South Carolina's opens the season at home September 2nd against Southern Miss.
Fans say despite last seasons disappointing finish, they're ready for some football. "We got a bunch of new recruits in, they're going to be very good, and I'm looking forward to it," says fan Keller Goldman.
Coach Steve Spurrier said during a preseason event, he felt bad for fans who had to endure South Carolina's 20-7 loss to Connecticut in the Papajohns.com Bowl.
The first week of practices are open to the public. They will be held at the Bluff Road practice field.
Thursday August 5th - 7:30
Friday August 6th - 7:30
Saturday August 7th - 7:30 (first day of full pads)
Sunday August 8th - 7:30
