Camden (WACH) -- Thousands of people are back at work, thanks to the good will from the people at Goodwill. 4,372 people from around the Midlands have been matched to various jobs this year, thanks to the Goodwill's Job Connection Center.
The facility offers a wide range of resources from fax machines, internet access, help with applications, to job leads and referrals.
Edward Butler with Goodwill, says the most important thing the center offers is encouragement.
"A lot of clients come in and they are full of cynicism, and really disheartened at the time about how the economy is," said Butler. "And what we try to do at Goodwill is let them know there are jobs available that are there for them. And all they have to be willing to do, is to do the hard work to find employment and we are going to be there to walk with them through the process."
Those back on the job have the potential to earn more than $71 million in wages during the course of their first year of work.
