RICHLAND COUNTY (WACH) -- Troopers are looking for an older white pick-up truck that may have caused an accident on I-26 Wednesday afternoon.

Officials with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say a car collided with a utility poll near St. Andrews Road around 4:30 p.m.

The white truck may not have made contact with the car before it crashed causing two westbound lanes of interstate to be blocked during the afternoon rush hour.

The Highway Patrol says if you saw the accident take place or have any information that may help their investigation, call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
