NEWBERRY (WACH) -- An Amber Alert has been canceled and officials announce a missing baby has been found in Miami.
However, a suspect is still on the run.
Monday, a car connected to an Amber Alert issued in Tennessee was found in Newberry County, according to deputies.
The Newberry County Sheriff's Department says a Highway Patrol trooper was checking on an abandoned vehicle on I-26 near mile marker 74 when he discovered it was stolen from Tennessee.
Tennessee investigators say a 7-month-old boy was forcibly taken from his mother by the baby's father, David Jackson, during an assault.
Officials continue their search for Jackson.
The child is currently safe in the custody of a paternal grandmother.
Authorities in Tennessee say there was a second vehicle associated with the Amber Alert. Investigators say it is possible that Jackson and three female accomplices are in a White Chrysler Sebring with Florida plates.
Officials say the three others involved are 20-year-old Brooke Lashae Collins, 24-year-old Ashley Mclynda Laughlin and a suspect identified only as "Bunny."
Tennessee authorities say David Jackson has a lengthy violent criminal history and is probably headed to Georgia or Florida.
