(AP) -- The International Monetary Fund says the world economy is recovering faster than expected.
The director of research for the International Monetary Fund says the numbers have been coming in stronger than expected and the IMF is raising its world growth forecast for 2010 to 4.6 percent.
But the fund is also warning that Europe's debt crisis "could spill over to other regions and stall the global recovery." It says risks have "risen sharply" and governments need to shore up public confidence.
