COLUMBIA (WACH) -- If you're looking to score some National Championship swag, you might have to wait in line.

Fans bought up Gamecock gear as soon as shipments were dropped off at retailers Wednesday.

The first batch of 300 shirts sold out in ten minutes at Todd and Moore in Columbia.

The sporting goods store had to order a second round of Gamecock gear to satisfy anxious fans before the team made their homecoming.

"It's been a little overwhelming," says Chuck Todd, President of Todd and Moore.  "We have never done this before.  In the history of our sports we have never had it before, so we didn't really know what to expect.  We tried to anticipate, but it's a lot more than we anticipated."

If you didn't get a Gamecock Champions t-shirt, Todd says there will be more to chose from Thursday.
