MONCKS CORNER (AP) -- Some South Carolina sheriff's deputies are trying to track down one of their bloodhounds.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported that a Berkeley County Sheriff's Office bloodhound dug his way out of his kennel early Tuesday and hasn't been seen since.
Sheriff's spokesman Dan Moon says the 3-year-old bloodhound named Red weighs about 95 pounds and is wearing an orange collar that identifies him as a sheriff's dog. The dog does have a microchip.
Moon says the dog's handler and other deputies spent much of Tuesday looking for Red.
