Lightning is to blame for causing an Irmo home to erupt in flames.

IRMO -- Lightning is to blame for causing an Irmo residence to go up in flames Sunday.

Officials says they responded to the blaze at 106 Brassfield Court in Irmo just after 6:00 p.m.

According to Columbia Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins, no one was injured in the incident, but the blaze has displaced four people.
