Harbison (WACH) -- Friday is National Flip-Flop and one business is helping people to stay cool as part of the celebration.
Business was booming at Tropical Smoothie off Harbison as people lined up for their free smoothies just for sporting flip-flops.
It was the 4th annual celebration at the cafe.
But workers are using the fun day to do more than just help people cool off.
"We're trying to raise money for Camp Sunshine which is a camp that terminally ill children can go to do something fun," employee Chelsea Melton says.
Tropical Smoothies has been raising money for the charity by selling paper flip flops and accepting donations.
At last check, Melton says she thinks they've met their goal of $2,000.
