West Columbia man arrested for stabbing, choking boys

WEST COLUMBIA -- A West Columbia man is under arrest for attacking two boys, one 11 and the other nine-years-old.

According to Lexington County Sheriff James Metts, 29-year-old Jason Lemmon stabbed the 11-year-old three times with a kitchen knife and attempted to strangle the nine-year-old.

Authorities charged Lemmon with two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill.

He is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
