COLUMBIA -- Just in time for Memorial Day, Operation Thank You is giving you the chance to give back to those who give so much.

The project's mission is to send cards to troops overseas.

The operation is setting up shop at Dutch Square Mall this weekend.

You can write messages of encouragement on cards that will be delivered to our troops.

Organizers say it only takes a few minutes to show your appreciation.

"Because the conflict continues and men and women are there, we need to continue our support for them and to let them know that their efforts are not being forgotten," says Founder Brian Bohlman.

Operation Thank You hopes to collect and send 150,000 cards to troops.
