LEXINGTON -- A mix-up at a gas station has left one Lexington business owner stranded.

Brian Jones owns PSCC Property and Wildlife Management.

On Monday, he filled up all of his work trucks at a Pitt Stop on Highway 378.

He was shocked when it turned out the diesel pumps were filled with regular gas.

Now, several of his trucks are broken down and he's out thousands of dollars.

"Every day I'm down is a lost dollar and every lost dollar is the closer I am to being ruined," Jones says.  "And I'm just trying to take care of my family and take care of my guys and their families."

The Pitt Stop says the mix up was a problem by their provider, Associated Petroleum Carriers.

Once the station learned of the problem, they shut those pumps down.

Jones plans to sue APC for damages.
