CAYCE -- It's National Nursing Home Week and to help our "seasoned citizens," Checker Cab of Cayce is giving folks a free ride.

The cab company is picking up White Oak Manor residents for whatever errands they needed run.

Check Yellow also brought out its handicap accessible van to make sure every resident could take a ride.

Marjorie Neely was excited about taking a trip around town.

"I love cars, I love to ride," Neely said.

"We're out here just to service people that normally don't get the opportunity to get out as they normally would have," says Joseph Baxley of Checker Yellow Cab.

White Oak Manor Officials put together several events honoring TV shows from the 60's and 70's.

The cab rides were based on the poplar show Taxi.
