Investigators say the fire that started in the building owned by 3 Hebrew Boys was caused by an electrical short in wires feeding the HVAC system.
COLUMBIA -- Officials have wrapped up their investigation into a fire that happened at an unused office building off of Two Notch Road earlier this week.
Investigators say the fire that started in the building owned by 3 Hebrew Boys was caused by an electrical short in wires feeding the HVAC system.
The building suffered heavy damage and caused an estimated $1.2 million in damages.
According to officials, the property has been turned over to the property management company.
The 3 Hebrews Boys were convicted last year of dozens of federal fraud charges after swindling more than $80 million from thousands of investors.
