Traffic stop leads to meth bust

Twenty-seven-year-old Aaron Lamar Tyler was pulled over for speeding on Millwood Avenue on Tuesday.

COLUMBIA -- Columbia Police have arrested a suspect who had components for a meth lab in his car.

Twenty-seven-year-old Aaron Lamar Tyler was pulled over for speeding on Millwood Avenue on Tuesday.

A K-9 search of Tyler's Ford Mustang turned up narcotics and parts used in manufacturing methamphetamine.

Tyler is lodged at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

A passenger in the vehicle has not been charged.
