COLUMBIA -- The tightest race in Columbia's municipal elections was in District IV.

Former Columbia City Manager Leona Plaugh will face former Richland County Councilman Tony Mizzell in a run-off for that race.

Only a small margin of votes separates the two candidates after Tuesday's election.

Columbia businessman Kevin Fisher, who ran for mayor in the last election, narrowly missed the cut in District IV by around 500 votes.

Here's how the overall results look in that race:

Kevin Fisher              1,225   21.64%
Tony Mizzell               1,782   31.48%
Leona Plaugh           1,831   32.34%
Walter Powell Jr           478    8.44%
Mary Baskin Waters     331    5.85%
WRITE-IN                         14     .25%
