COLUMBIA -- South Carolina is still going strong in 2010 Census participation.
Currently, the state ranks above the national average.
Fifty seven percent of South Carolinians have returned their completed Census forms as of Friday evening.
That's compared to a national average of 56%.
But officials with the Census Bureau say that just because the state ranks high, it's no reason for you to not participate.
In fact, replacement forms were sent out to many households this week before Census workers start going door-to-door.
The forms are to be filled out and returned in the event yours has been lost or thrown away.
Census workers say that you should only return one form.
