Police say it's from neighborhood tips.

LEXINGTON COUNTY -- Lexington County is on pace to smash last year's record for meth lab busts.

Deputies raided the tenth operation of 2010 Sunday night.

There were 26 busts in all of 2009.

Sheriff James Metts says many of the busts come after tips from the community.

He says neighbors should keep their eyes open.

Suspicious activity or a foul smell are some of the more common warning signs.

Officials think the increase in busts is due to more residents speaking up when they see people making meth.
