SC Trooper killed in wreck

A South Carolina State Trooper - and native of Florence County - died early Saturday morning in a car wreck in the upstate.

The SC Highway Patrol says Corporal Kevin Cusack's cruiser ran off a state highway around 3:30 a.m.

It happened about six miles south of the city of Lancaster.

Cusack, 45, was on duty at the time. His mother lives in Lake City and he leaves behind three children.
