CHARLESTON (AP) -- It looks like a South Carolina plantation house, it sits on Charleston Harbor and it has a view of Fort Sumter and other landmarks.

And it's only $10 million.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reported the home at the mouth of Shem Creek has the highest asking price of any home in Mount Pleasant, just across the harbor from Charleston.

The 7,000-square-foot home has five bedrooms and a saltwater pool that spans nearly the length of the house, sitting between the home and the harbor.

The house was built in 2003. Nancy Hoy of Charleston One Real Estate says developer Richard Coen and his wife put the property on the market, saying they had other opportunities.

Downtown Charleston also recently saw a record asking price of $23 million. The 14,000-square-foot home is still on the market.
