COLUMBIA -- While lawmakers continue to battle the budget trying to find funds for several programs, House members voted to cut corporate income taxes for the next 10 years.

Lawmakers hope this move brings businesses to the state.

However, Representative Gilda Cobb-Hunter thinks it's a bad move.

She says it's time to stop handing out corporate welfare and start paying more attention to the health and welfare of the state's residents.
