LEXINGTON(WACH) -- According to Lexington County Sheriff’s deputies a former hospice nurse and her boyfriend are in custody for breaking into a 74 year old man's home.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said detectives arrested Tonya Leigh Corder on Friday, February 26 and arrested James Bentham Butler on Tuesday, February 23.

Arrest warrants allege that at about 9 p.m. on February 7, Butler broke into the man's home on Walter Taylor Road by forcing open a door. Butler pointed a handgun at the 74-year-old man and demanded that he provide him with money.

Corder and Butler are being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting bond hearings.
