COLUMBIA-- The fascination with politicians' private lives continues to grow each year, especially during election periods.

With several recent politicians admitting to affairs, including South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, leaders are under even more scrutiny.

WACH FOX News wants to know is it fair that politicians' personal lives are thrust into the spotlight.

Reporter Katie Williams talked to a handful of people Thursday afternoon. Their views are split down the middle.

Some people say politicians should expect it, while others say leave them alone unless they've done something wrong.
