On Wednesday the owner of the dog tasered by Irmo Police was reunited with her pooch, after being separated for nearly a week.

Tameka Hosendove and her three son's arrived at West Columbia's Pet Inc to see 2-year-old Rosalina.

Last week Irmo Police, along with Animal Control tasered the dog.  They said the 25-pound pooch lunged at them and was aggressive.

Hosendove says the family is incomplete with their four-legged friend.

"For me to leave my house and I leave my animal on my porch and I come home and my baby's gone--and possibly dead--I can honestly say that hurts me," said Tameka Hosendove.  "And I'll never trust another police officer again."

Hosendove was cited for the incident and will have to face a judge at the end of March.
