Fire at Lexington nursery

LEXINGTON (WACH) - According to the Lexington County 911 Dispatch Center a blaze broke out at approximately 6:55 pm Wednesday at the Pilot Landscaping and Nursery business located at 4715 Augusta Highway.

Fire officials said they arrived on the scene within minutes and discovered the attic space of the structure to be heavily involved with fire. 

Officials said the fire took 45 minutes to bring under control. Damages are estimated at approximately $20,000.
 No one was at the business at the time of the fire and no one was injured in the duration of the incident. 

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
