Prosecutors say Donna Sheedy had a blood alcohol level of 0.27%.
(AP) -- CONWAY, S.C. A South Carolina woman has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty in a drunken driving crash that killed a motorcyclist during last spring's rallies along the coast.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports that a judge Wednesday gave 61-year-old Donna Sheedy a month to report to jail.
Prosecutors say Sheedy had a blood alcohol level of 0.27 percent -- more than three times the legal limit -- when her car crossed the center line and struck 47-year-old Kenneth Temple.
Authorities say Temple was riding with friends and family along state Highway 544.
Sheedy apologized to Temple's family, saying she had a brother on a motorcycle killed by a drunk driver.
