COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) -- South Carolina Department of Transportation crews are reporting minimal problems with roadways in the Midlands.

So far, officials say travelers are currently experiencing wet road conditions with only ice debris from trees causing any type of problems.

Department of Transportation teams are salting roads in South Carolina to avoid any problems as temperatures fall into the 20s Saturday night. DOT has also activated a Web site with updates on winter road conditions.
