LAMAR -- A woman has been arrested after police say she purposely set fire to a home during a domestic dispute in the Pee Dee.

Darlington County authorities say they responded to a home on Cross Swamp Road in Lamar after they received two separate calls Saturday afternoon, one for a domestic dispute and another a short time later for a house fire.

When they arrived they say the house was on fire and the seven people who lived in the home had to be evacuated and treated for smoke inhalation. Officials say the injuries were non-life threatening.

A woman who lived there, Sharon Chapman, was arrested and charged with first degree arson and disorderly conduct.

SLED is investigating.
