COLUMBIA-- Wednesday morning's vandalism at City Hall has residents once again confronting racism in the state.

WACH FOX News reporter Katie Williams spent the day downtown to get what people think about the issue.

While most people say the racial graffiti is unfortunate, they're not surprised someone painted it.

Columbia resident Joe Thomas says, "It's to be expected. We are in South Carolina."

Others we spoke with just want to move on. They say this incident doesn't reflect on what Columbia stands for.
