GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- With Christmas approaching, Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer is continuing his campaign to make sure South Carolina's seniors are warm for the holidays.
Bauer is in Greenville on Tuesday morning to distribute 200 blankets to the needy at Redemption World Outreach Center. Bauer says the blankets were purchased with funds from his Palmetto Tomorrow Foundation.
This is the third year in a row Bauer has distributed blankets to needy seniors.
Earlier this month, he passed out 50 blankets through Meals on Wheels of Greenville. In March, he joined representatives from the Wal-Mart Foundation and Duke Energy Foundation to distribute blankets in several cities.
