(AP) -- COLUMBIA -- An Iowa airport executive has been recruited to run the Columbia Metropolitan Airport.
Dan Mann, who's coming to the capital city from the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids, will be the new executive director starting the first of February. He replaces Mike Flack, who is retiring on Jan. 8.
During his time at the Iowa airport, there has been a significant traffic count increase over the past three years to nearly a million passengers.
Mann is a licensed pilot with more than 15 years experience managing airports.
