(AP) -- South Carolina man has been charged with felony drunken driving after authorities say he flipped his car, killing his cousin.
Multiple media outlets report that 25-year-old James Michael Duck of Lyman was arrested Tuesday.
Investigators say Duck lost control of his car Monday night and ran it into a ditch. A passenger in the car was pinned underneath and died at the scene.
Authorities say 25-year-old Kandys Darlene Batson was not wearing a seatbelt.
Troopers spent much of the night searching for the driver. The Highway Patrol says Duck's mother took him to the hospital, and he was arrested when he was released.
Duck is being held without bond. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.
