(AP) -- GASTONIA, N.C. (AP) -- A North Carolina man has been arrested in the deaths of two women whose bodies were found in northern South Carolina.

Multiple media outlets reported that 47-year-old Danny Robbie Hembree Jr., of Gastonia was arrested Saturday.

Hembree is charged in the deaths of 30-year-old Randi Dean Saldana and 17-year-old Heather Catterton.

Saldana's body was found burned on a road in Kings Mountain State Park in South Carolina last month. Catterton's body was found near Clover, S.C., in late October.

Nick Catterton says Hembree had been dating another of his daughters, Nicole, and sometimes stayed in their home.

Nick Catterton says he knew Hembree had been in prison previously but he didn't notice anything usual about him.

It was unclear if Hembree had an attorney.
