An afternoon armed robbery led to a police chase through the Eau Claire community.

According to Richland County deputies, an armed robbery took place Saturday afternoon at 3315 Broad River Road, which is the Check and Cash business.  The suspects then took off in a gray Charger.  Deputies chased the suspects down Interstate 20, then to Monticello Road.

Investigators say that's when the suspects alleged wrecked the car near Monticello and Elliot near Eau Claire High School.

The suspects fled on foot.  One of the suspects was easily caught, while the other broke into a house into the area.  Deputies were able to catch that suspect as well.

The suspects are 27-year-old Kelvin Scott and 24-year-old Milton Streetman.  Both are being taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center and will await a bond hearing.
