CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says his Tigers don't need any wholesale changes to improve on their 2-3 record.
Swinney says if the team can just run their plays better and stop making small mistakes, they will be fine. He says the Tigers are just a few plays away from being 4-and-1 and would be facing a lot less criticism.
Swinney says there is no dissension on his coaching staff and no discord in the locker room, an assessment backed by his players.
Clemson hosts Wake Forest on Saturday and the winner will still be very alive for a spot in the Atlantic Coast Conference title game. The loser could face an uphill fight to make a bowl.
Swinney says Demon Deacons quarterback Riley Skinner is good enough to keep Wake Forest in any game.
