The North Carolina based Fisher-Rex Sandwich Company, is recalling some of it's pre-packaged sandwiches after tests confirmed the presence of a bacteria known as Listeria.
The bacteria can have a devastating affect on the elderly, pregnant women and adults with weakened immune systems.
The recalled products contain a 6-digit product code that begins with 01. If the product contains a 5-digit code, it's not subject to the recall.
The sandwiches were distributed to stores and gas stations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
So far no illnesses have been reported.
